lovely blog award :)

tenkiu ainur kerana mengetag. kalau x tag, ntah bile ntah nak berupdatenya blog ni. ni pon dah hampir sebulan ditag baru perasan. aigohh. haha. kesian blogspot terabai kerana tumblr. banyak betul komitmen :P okay, enough rambling. jom usya rules and regulations for this award.

Here are the rules to abide accepting this award:
1. Post linking back to the person that gave you the award.
2. Share 7 random things about yourself
3. Award 15 recently discovered blogs
4. Drop them a note and tell them about it

rule 1,done :)

rule 2..
random thing 1
when people make jokes, or talk about something, i tend to space out and be like

then ranging from like few minutes to one day later, then only i realise what they meant. haha. so bad.
like this one time the guy at the drinking stall tried to joke with me. i wanted a soya drink but they didn't sell it for the day. i was like, fine la kan. then he said come again tomorrow. and still, i was like fine la kan. but he kept on repeating it. so i was like, whats wrong with him? -.-' then after i went back to my room, i realised tomorrow was a holiday and they're not opening. duh. so so bad.

random thing 2
i like to wear kain batik. though, i don't always wear it. wearing kain batik makes me feel ayu, down to earth and malay. haha :P

ayu kan? ntah gambar siapa la aku rembat ni. haha. but point proven right? :)

random thing 3
when i'm focusing on reading something or watching a movie, i can get reaaaalllyy focused. i wouldn't even realise if someone was talking to me. it would be great if i can be like that when i'm studying -.-'

random thing 4
my tummy is versatile. huh? haha. i usually eat a little bit but when it comes to wasted food, i'm the girl to come look for. insyaAllah, even if the food is high like the mountains (hyperbola much) i'll finish it. i don't like wasted food.  not that i eat food from the garbage, that is euwww. hey,the rezeki came from Allah while others could only get the opportunity of eating only once a day. the guilt is unbearable. thus,i force my tummy to be versatile :)

random thing 5
i only listen to nasheeds. undeniably before this i was a person who would know all about the western singers and stuff, and be the first person to download once i hear a new song. but now i think all of that is rubbish and making me neglect from remembering Allah. istighfar. at first it was tempting to change from alt rock to nasheeds but it becomes easy when you do it for the right cause. just delete all the songs without regret and start downloading new nasheeds.  i would search for a particular singer like dawud wharnsby or yusuf islam or hijjaz or raihan or saujana. then i would listen to all the songs then choose the ones that i like more and delete the ones that i don't like.

random thing 5
i looove taking pictures. its just a hobby. no,i don't have a dslr. but i would love to have one. anyone want to buy one for me? teehee :P

some of my works here. haha. would look better in dslr though :)

random thing 6
aigoh, random thing 7 seems so far away. i'm tired of thinking anymore. haha :P okay, next. i have 7 wishes that i would so much want to do before i die. the first one is go bungee jumping. yahuuu~

i want to go water rafting again

i want to go sky diving

beautiful man. so beautiful..

i want to go sky gliding again. i'm not sure if its the correct term but last time i did it at penang. the motorboat pulled me then my feet would touch the sea water and then i would soar up high again. loved it. just loved it.

i want to go travel the world <3 seriously. i want to go so much. to france to spain to korea to russia to america to thailand to  uk to pretty much, anywhere! even to sabah and sarawak. haha. klik HERE to checkout a pretty decent list of places i want to go :)

the next one would be to go to someplace like this

and the last wish would be to go do my pilgrimage. its compulsory for all muslims as it is one of the 5 pillars. its the house of Allah. who wouldn't want to go? :)

ramdom thing 7
at last! :D haha. i would say that i'm single but not available as in only for my husband. but that would be a pretty lame random thing. so i would go for i suck at bowling. haha. like seriously, no one is suckier than me. even my 10 year old sister got a higher score than me. the lowest of the lowest i got was 19. 19!! maybe my husband would teach me someday. well, if he's good at it. haha.

finished! at last! woohoo! :D

now its time to reward 15 blogs :)

near death experience?

Assalamualaikum
ouh wow what an experience
not that i like it but it is such an eye opener

just awhile ago before asar,i was laying around on my bed

when suddenly my neck had a cramp
it also happened last night but only for a while
this time it was loong and painful T.T
this had happened before. loads of times, even worse
every single time i would think that i might die
and this time is no different
at first i just laid there holding my neck hoping that it would go away
then i tried rolling to get up. success!
i wanted go downstairs to call my mom
but i foolishly stopped by my parents room to weigh my weight (duh~ -.-')
at that moment,it suddenly hurt so bad
then i thought,if this was my time to die,i would want it to be while i was devoting to Him
so i went back to my room and went to the toilet for ablution
while carrying out the ablution, the pain miraculously disappeared
i was sooo amazed and in awe
just awhile ago i couldn't even swallow my saliva without feeling like my esophagus would collapse
now i could move freely with less pain
the remains of the pain still exists
but i wouldn't mind that compared to what i've been through just now
at that point,i felt so grateful to Him
for giving me another chance to ask for forgiveness, to devote myself to Him
how generous is He for giving tons and tons of chances
every time we get back home safely, every time we survived anything
all those are chance that He generously gave
how do use the chances? did we prove that we are worthy of the chances?

anyways, don't be afraid of dying if we attempt to die in His path
i share this not to be proud that i survived
but for us to feel the humility and feel how fortunate we are to be the servant of Almighty

flowers

Assalamualaikum

sooo.. this topic i kinda just thought of it after reading pqah's blog :P

well..
you know how diamonds are girls best friend?
i think flowers can be a girls best friends too.
because some girls find it utterly romantic when they receive flowers from their loved ones.
some like roses, some like orchids, some like jasmine.
as for me, i'm still clueless about which one i like.
maybe all of them? :P
but i think all of them are beautiful, so beautiful.
alhamdulillah, they too are blessings from Allah
and its also a blessing that we can see these beautiful floras.
don't forget to be thankful :)

well, i've noticed that most girls nowadays would just dream of getting flowers from their ehemm *wink wink, if you know what i mean*
but for me, i don't want them
its better if you don't give me any kinds of plants
because frankly, i don't know how to take care of them. haha.
and it would be a shame if they wither away and die.

but what i really really really would want....
is to be in a field of them
a field of floras as far as the eye can see.
not in the rainforest's like they have in malaysia.
but like the one in beauty and the beast, can you imagine?
gosh, now that is what i call romantic.
i could just stay there for hours and days just rolling there
sleeping, reading books, looking at the sky, the view.

so breathtaking. phew.

now if only someone would just take me there.. hehe.. :)

do places like these really exist? please take me there pretty please :)

new thingy

in case you didn't know, i made a tumblr :)

i think i broke a record this morning. i went to the hb3 foodcourt wearing a kain batik. homaigoshh. what was i thinkinggg. segan segan. haha. but then again, guys can wear kain pelekat anywhere, why can't girls wear kain batik anywhere too? right?

your choice

Assalamualaikum..

i want to tell you a story
something i watched on nat geo awhile ago
which is reallyyy touching
i think you would feel the same too

a leopard.. as you all know,is a hunter
it feeds of other weak animals and feared by all
little did we know that behind the strong exterior, is actually a sensitive being
in the show that i saw
the leopard had attacked a baboon
the baboon obviously died but the leopard hadn't notice that there was a baby baboon dangling to the mother baboon. auwhh~

when the leopard realised this, guess what she did?
she took care of the baby baboon dudes! mashaAllah
fyi, baboons and leopards are enemies since way back
and yet, she took care of the baby like it was her own
she didn't even feed of the mother baboon so that the little one could feed off what's left of the mother's milk
smelling the scent of blood, hyenas came to eat the left overs
the leopard protected the baby and she took the baby up on a tree so that it would be safe
throughout the night, she took care of the baby though the baby almost fell off the tree a few times
sadly, when dawn came, the baby baboon was discovered lifeless
indeed the whole story was touching
mere words can't describe the real thing that happened

auwhh. so cute! >.<

the baby baboon has probably considered the leopard as its mother

opsy daisy. i'm coming for ya little one!

this shows that even animals have maternal instincts
they could care for a child of another species, the baby of their enemy nonetheless!
i'm not talking about home animals here, not cats, not dogs, not pets but the predators!
where does this put us humans? i should say beneath the levels of an animal
while animals are not blessed with an intellect such of a human being

given the intellect, the physics, the emotions, how could humans have the nerve to this??

and this
and this :'(

astaghfirullah
people,this is so sad
pictures shown by uncle google are worse
i just couldn't bear to see anymore
if you wana see more pictures, you can ask uncle google yourselves

don't you feel sad? don't you?? if you don't, there is something seriously wrong with you!
those innocent kids pay the price of your bastardly behaviors
dudes, shame on you!
i know that you have nafs in you, but this is just so low

its is said that the angels have the intellect but no nafs. all they do is worship Allah and do what they are told to do
the satans have nafs but no intellect. they know but their arrogance has clouded their judgement and refuse to follow Allah's orders
the humans have both nafs and intellect. even if you have nafs, you have the intellect to control you
now, its your choice to choose. to be above the angels or to be below the satans

make your choice. the RIGHT choice
wallahualam

imam muda 2 :)

Assalamualaikum
imam muda 2 is out!
they just did the opening ceremony of the new season a few days ago and it looks like the competition is tough!
the new faces gleam of innocence awaiting the challenges set for them
who are they? jeng jeng jeng

a sabahan who is a kafa teacher
he teaches kids how to read the quran and the kids love him <3
oh yeah. he is the 13th son out of 17! like wow his mom! :O
he has qualifications on designing and styling hairstyles
versatile!

imam muda amar from aloq staq!
he is still a university student
there's just something about him that gets to you. like seriouslyy..
not kidding. i'm a fan of him :P

imam muda got so famous that we have now contestants from other countries!
imam muda mujahid is from woodlands singapore
and he used to be a gymnasts during his school years! :O

err. i duno much about this imam muda.
i just know that he is a fasilitator and a counselor :)

imam muda nazrul is only 26 years old
but he is already a headmaster at a religious school! :O

oh p/s: he's married with a son and another one coming soon

this one just got married lohh
and he's an engineer dudes
coolness

he is only 19 going on 20 years old
but he is already a tarannum teacher, a gift inherited from his father, so they say
he is a brother of a local nasheed singer! wonder who it is? :)
and he is a student in piloting if i'm not mistaken

another international contestant!
this one is from brunei and he is a mosque officer

imam muda fakhrul is already an imam in his hometown
a grad student from the middle east. phew

imam muda hassan is 26 and he is already a part time lecturer!

oh mann.. these imams are so successful
looks like its gona be a tough one this season
my personal favs are imam muda amar and imam muda nazrul
imam muda amar, basically cause he's from kedah. haha :P
but if u watched him in the tests episodes, dang he is good
and imam muda nazrul is no less greater than him
during the tests he was like ok,but then the judges told him to give all out
then he was like amazing! :O
so modest of him
and his face is just so calm and always smiling. gosh.
calms the heart man

watching imam muda always gave me the goosebumps
and the show is so overwhelming
its touching to see that there are actually a lot of talented and good guys out there
and its great that imam muda exposes the society with these things
instead of tuutttt akademi fantasia and tuttttt mentor and tuutttt mari berdansa and also other tuttts
which are definitely not good foods for the soul

no matter how tough the competitions are or what the prizes may be
it is important to remember that the nawaitu must always be because of Him and for Him
not for fame, not for money, not for showing of how good you are
and for us the audience, we musn't watch it just to waste our leisure time with
lets take the lessons available and learn and our nawaitu must be straight too
not to watch because they are potentially eligible husbands *though they indeed are. ehem*
or to just have some fun watching it

this applies to everything you do
not just watching imam muda
that way, you would always get benefits from anything you do :)

which one is your favouite? :)

my heart ain't strong

..Assalamualaikum..

i'm scared. like really scared. seriously frightened. why you ask?

well..
i'm sacred not just right now,but til the end of my life.
scared of what might be the answers to these questions
will i die in husnul khotimah? will i be worthy of heaven?
have i done enough deeds? how much are my sins?
are they forgived? are my worships accepted and enough?
these questions keep popping in my head
and i know i won't know the answers til judgement day O.o
it just scares me that the answers to the questions might be negative. huuu.
but at this particular moment, during this period of time before i meet my husband, before i'm married
i am PETRIFIED of my relationships with men
no i'm NOT in any relationship. heck i DON'T want to be in one
i meant relationships as in friends
i know a few guy friends and majority of them are nice
especially the 'barai's or the usrah guys
but i'm scared if one or two or any of them are so nice to me, i might fall
seeing and knowing good guys make my heart fluster. fuh.
and i hate that. i absolutely hate that.
i have been in relationships before and i regret them. all of them.
being in relationships made my heart weak
prone to adultery of the heart for liking or missing or loving a guy
prone to give in to my nafs's desire
prone to be deceived by satans' tricks and cons
when all i want to do is save all that for my husband
but i know i can do this. i know i can.
and i will fight the feelings til the very end.

i only know 2 ways that i practice to avoid from falling
1. consulting my heart to be tame, istighfar and remember Him
2. lowering my gaze. but at times ,this kinda fails. huuu. but i'm still trying my best to consistently resist

for Allah has mentioned in Surah An-Nur ayat 31

"And say to the believing women that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty that they should not display their beauty and ornaments except what (must ordinarily) appear thereof that they should draw their veils over their bosoms and not display their beauty..."

amd THIS is an article regarding this matter, the gender interactions. may this help me,you,us,them, him, her

i am sooooo grateful that i am not so close with any of my so called guy friends
and i am grateful that they don't attempt to do so too
in a way,i feel like it is Allah's way of protecting me
Alhamdulillah

so NAFS, I AM AT WAR WITH YOU >.<
and i will win. insyAllah.

let us all battle and may we all win this war!!

these are greatly encouraged

sad sad story

Assalamualaikum
i just remembered a true story my mom told me
my mom is a teacher, if you didn't know
there is a student studying in her school. female.
and she is the only girl in the whole school not wearing a hijab
not because she didn't want to
but because her mother told her not to..
yup. you read me right. her MOTHER told her not to
the girl entered school somewhat last year, if i'm not mistaken
seeing the obvious awkwardness, my mom and an ustaz called in the girl and her mother
curious about this particular condition, hoping to help in any way
as a result..
the mother said that her daughter may wear a hijab on a few terms
1. that she must not wear while her hair is still wet
2. that when she wears the hijab, she won't get any dandruffs
3. and that she would not get any other hair problems related to this factor
i was like, wth? -.-'
no offence to other mothers out there, but what relevance is her action?
how can she put such terms to her daughter?
how can she put such terms on what Allah has made mandatory?
and pity her daughter..
the other kids at school called her kafir, a kufr
she went to my mom, confessing her dilemma.. crying

sad isn't it..

how would we be if actually Allah made terms for us to receive His blessings
with all the wrongs that we have done
all the sins that we did
all the assumptions and judges that we make
all the excuses we have come up with
and yet.. Allah has been so patient with us

"If God lacked patience and mercy, all of you would long ago have been punished. If God lacked compassion and forgiveness, none of you would have escaped." [Surah An-Nur 24:20-21]

count your blessings people
but then again, they are uncountable, right?..

wallahualam..
sedihnya tadi gotong royong muslimat 2 orang je yang pegi. wuu :'(

tips to wake up for subuh prayers :)

..Assalamualaikum..
Tonight is the night for the usrah dinner. hee.
feeling a wee bit giddy and nervous
but then again,i always feel that way for ANY event. haha :P

okay, well i got this idea of a topic from my friend

right,he says that he always overslept through his subuh prayers
and i think most people have been through this phrase in their lives
i've been hearing a few talks and i just want to share some of the ways that i practice

1. after you recite your prayers to sleep, you pray to Allah, just a small du'a. tell Him that you need His help to wake up tomorrow morning. and tell it like you mean it. seriously, this works. unless if you really don't mean it, you have no niat to do so, then you wouldn't have the strength to wake up. this is a tip i discovered by ustaz kazim elias. wink wink :)

2. the second one is based upon a hadith by the beloved messenger of Allah

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said, "During your sleep, Satan knots three knots at the back of the head of each of you, and he breathes the following words at each knot, 'The night is, long, so keep on sleeping,' If that person wakes up and celebrates the praises of Allah, then one knot is undone, and when he performs ablution the second knot is undone, and when he prays, all the knots are undone, and he gets up in the morning lively and gay, otherwise he gets up dull and gloomy. "

so when you wake up, say subhanallah. then one knot is removed. don't you go back to sleep after that! straight away go to perform your ablution to remove the second knot and lastly, perform your prayers. 3 knots removed! after that, satan would not have control over you the whole day. mashAllah :) this tip is retrieved from sheikh khalid yasin. you can find him on youtube.

3. check your sleep schedule. this is my tip personally. if you TERforget to du'a to Allah to help you wake up and you find yourself sleeping through subuh without getting the chance to say subhanallah to wake up, then sleep in time. for me,i have found out that my sleep limit is usually 1 or 2 am. if i sleep after that, i usually oversleep. so what must i do? i must sleep before that time. then i find it easy to wake up after that :)

4. quit snoozing your phone! you had the time to wake up to snooze your phone, why not wake up all together? fight the urge to snooze and just wake up.

Narrated 'Abdullah: It was mentioned before the Prophet that there was a man who slept the night till morning (after sunrise). The Prophet said, "He is a man in whose ears (or ear) Satan had urinated."

euwww! you got satan's urination in your ear!! >.< haha :P

may these tips help you find your way
and may we all strive for the better :) hoyeah.

ouh yeah. i'm late to go check out the hall for the dinner tonight. aiks! >.<

free

..Assalamualaikum..

this is a beautiful song by sami yusuf portraying the muslim women's dilemma in the west
being discriminated by the way they look, what they wear
they say wearing the hijab, burqa, niqab is opression
when in fact they don't understand the real concept of wearing these fabulous protectors
wearing the veil is actually our choice, our freedom

this is in FRANCE
starting 11th April 2011, the law bans the hijab be worn by women in france
who is the oppressed now??
for more info, you can read it HERE

what about us in Malaysia? how do we feel? what do we do?
some pray for them
some feel sad for them
some don't even know
some know and feel NOTHING

this poor women was dragged and ambushed this way
how heavy the test is upon her
only because she said..
“I am Muslim, these are my values and I reject anything that goes against those values”
if we were in her shoes, are we as strong?
what would we do?
stand up like she did?
or Allah forbid, follow the wretched law?
faith check people!

i think in Malaysia its actually vice versa
yup. look around you. the muslimahs around you
rarely do we see those who actually follow the ISLAMIC law
as Allah have said in surah An-Nur ayat 31

"And tell the believing women to lower their gaze (from looking at forbidden things), and protect their private parts (from illegal sexual acts) and not to show off their adornment except only that which is apparent (like both eyes for necessity to see the way, or outer palms of hands or one eye or dress like veil, gloves, headcover, apron), and to draw their veils all over Juyoobihinna (i.e. their bodies, faces, necks and bosoms) and not to reveal their adornment except to their husbands, or their fathers, or their husband’s fathers, or their sons, or their husband’s sons, or their brothers or their brother’s sons, or their sister’s sons, or their (Muslim) women (i.e. their sisters in Islam), or the (female) slaves whom their right hands possess, or old male servants who lack vigour, or small children who have no sense of feminine sex. And let them not stamp their feet so as to reveal what they hide of their adornment. And all of you beg Allaah to forgive you all, O believers, that you may be successful”

and Al-Ahzab ayat 59

“O Prophet! Tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to draw their cloaks (veils) all over their bodies (i.e. screen themselves completely except the eyes or one eye to see the way). That will be better, that they should be known (as free respectable women) so as not to be annoyed. And Allaah is Ever Oft‑Forgiving, Most Merciful”

and for those who disobey, Allah has already said in the first verse of surah An-Nur

"(This is) a Surah (chapter of the Qur'an) which We have sent down and which We have enjoined, (ordained its legal laws) and in it We have revealed manifest Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations lawful and unlawful things, and set boundries of Islamic Religion), that you may remember."

"Ini ialah satu "surah" yang Kami turunkan, dan Kami wajibkan hukum-hukumnya, serta Kami turunkan padanya ayat-ayat keterangan yang nyata supaya kamu beringat (mengamalkannya)"

okay,i know i have posted a lot about aurat, and I do mean a lot
but hey,i think its something that must not be taken lightly
it is our image, the order from up above, our dignity
and I see everywhere, people don't take account of that
seriously when I where appropriately, I feel calm and I feel that it prevents me from doing something bad
don't you want to feel that way too?

seksi? itulah diri saya! just being myself~ pfft!
tension sungguh tengok video ni -.-'

mereka di France berjuang mempertahankan agama, aurat, maruah mereka
di Malaysia berjuang mempertahankan kebebasan membuka aurat

if we truly love Him and Islam, we follow His ways

so stop this

and this

and this

and this

and this

start slow and consistent
insyAllah He eases you through
don't wait, don't hesitate, don't procrastinate
if you're waiting for the 'seru'
it comes everyday without you realising
it came since our first time of period
it comes every time you see a perfectly wearing hijabi women
it comes every time some one gives you advise
it comes every time you see a photo or read an article about this issue
it comes when you are reading THIS
in the end, its your choice to follow His way or not

and guys, please please advise your family members and friends
surely you wouldn't want to be dragged to hell together? aiks :'(
and girls please please pity your father(s), brother(s), husband(s)

lets strive for the better together :)
