love isn't about that only one day

..Assalamualaikum..

valentines day is just around the corner

i bet those love birds have already made plans for that oh so romantic loving day
really? romantic,huh?.....

for those who don't celebrate,u know Islam don't allow it right
for those who do.. maybe u don't know
as a muslim,u should know why..

1.its the encouragement of love of unmarried couple. hello! haram lah. what? u didn't know about that either?.. just click here

2.it is a jaahili Roman festival which continued even when the romans became christian. 
This festival became connected with the priest known as St.Valentine who was sentenced to death on 14 February 270 CE

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever imitates a people is one of them."
(narrated by Ahmad)

"And whoever seeks a religion[a way of life] other than Islam, it will never be accepted of him, and in the Hereafter he will be one of the losers" [Quran Surah Aal 'Imraan 3:85]

3. it is the day that the islamic empire fell in cordova,spain. surely we wouldn't want to celebrate that?

so those who call themselves islam,do not celebrate valentines. or any other religion related fetivals for that matter

eg. christmas,deepavali,halloween,april fools..

heck,who cares about valentines right?
love is shown everyday
not just a single day in a year
come on people. show me the love! :)

Allah's Messenger p.b.u.h. said:

"Whoever possesses the following three qualities will have the sweetness of faith: (i) The one to whom Allah and His Messenger are more loved than anything else; (ii) the one who loves a person purely and solely for Allah's sake; and (iii) the one who hates to return to kufr after Allah has saved him, as he would hate to be thrown into the Fire."

after finishing my exams on friday,i went to a bicara wara i think
at parcel 9,putrajaya
it was supposed to be on tv,maybe aired after valentines
the topic was awas! jerat valentine's day(beware of the valentine's day trap)
the host was fahrin ahmad featuring asyraf imam muda with ummi ros of raudhatul sakinah and ustaz zathiri
the talk was fun and informative
but i have to say,i am very much crushing on asyraf imam muda
i just have a thing for guys that memorise the ayat of Quran
it makes my heart flyyy ♥
he has a wife tho. hehe

we took quite a number of pictures too :P


instead of talking about love,valentines,etc...
lets think about the bigger issues in life
like.. my exams is finishing tomorrow! hahah
nah,kidding :P

especially love to the opposite sex
that definitely can wait til marriage
u have responsibilities as a son or daughter,a student,a muslim,a brother or sister,a friend,a human being
